How To Create Your Own Skin In Fortnite Battle Royale
Our Fortnite: Battle Royale Skins page contains a visual guide to every outfit - free and premium - that's currently available in the game.
Playing Fortnite wearing exactly the same garb as everyone else isn't going to affect your performance at all, but let's be honest - it also very much does. It's hard not to feel somewhat jealous of that other player who's dressed like an anthropomorphic tomato, or looks ready to hit the disco.
The question is, how do you actually get your hands on new skins in the game though? You've actually got quite a few options, and more of them do - ultimately - involve handing over your hard earned cash. Still, if it keeps the servers running for free, it's more than worth throwing a bit of spare change at the game.
For a start, players who choose to invest in the Battle Pass system can make progress unlocking some very special outfits just by playing the game. As you gain XP with this system, you hit new tiers which provide you with new cosmetic rewards. Not only that, each new season of competitive play introduces new items to unlock, so there's always something new to earn and show off to the other 99 players in your game.
If you're aiming to buy an outfit outright, then you can also head into the Item Shop. This is where you'll fork out some cash in exchange for any skin of your choosing, which also means you'll get it instantly instead of having to grind out a huge number of matches.
To help you understand this overwhelming amount of information, we've put together a guide that'll take you through all the outfits that have been released through Fornite's history. We've started with all the Season 6 skins at the top, followed by Starter Packs, Item Shop Skins and at the bottom of the page you'll find free and legacy outfits too. We'll do our best to update this guide as new outfits are introduced to the game, but bear with us on this front as Epic like to release them at a blistering pace!
Editor's Update: We've just rounded up all the Season 7 skins on this page. To see them all, simply click on the "Season 7 skins" link in the navigation bar below. For a complete overview of everything that's been added to the game, make sure you head on over to our Fortnite Season 7 guide!

How do I unlock new outfits?
V-Bucks
To purchase outfits you'll first need to buy V-Bucks with real world currency.
V-Bucks are virtual currency used to purchase items from the Item Shop or buy the Battle Pass itself.
Here's a breakdown of V-Bucks pricing.
- 1,000 V-bucks: $9.99 USD
- 2,500 V-bucks (+300 Bonus): $24.99 USD
- 6,000 V-bucks (+1,500 Bonus): $59.99 USD
- 10,000 V-bucks (+3,500 Bonus): $99.99 USD
If you want to get hold of V-Bucks without forking out the cash, look no further than our how to get V-Bucks for free guide!
Item Shop
The Item Shop - as the name suggests - is a store where you can purchase cosmetics. It's home to various outfits, gliders, pickaxes and emotes. To purchase these items, you'll need to get hold of some V-Bucks.
Some cosmetic items in Fortnite: BR are limited-time. This means they'll only stick around for a day, week or month before they're permanently removed from the game.
Check into the Item Shop and it'll be selling 2 featured items and 6 daily items. The featured items are usually Epic or Legendary offerings that come in at around 2000 or 1500 V-Bucks and last for a week before rotating out.
Daily items rotate out...well, daily. There's a fair amount of choice too, with 2 Epic Outfits for 2000, 2 Rare Outfits for 1,200 each, 1 Common for 800 and 1 Rare Glider for 800.
Battle Pass
The Battle Pass is your ticket to unlocking rewards progressively throughout a season. The more you play, the more goodies you'll earn.
Here's how it works:
- Buy the Battle Pass using V-Bucks.
- Play matches and earn EXP. This will level up your Battle Pass.
- When you earn another level, you unlock a new item.
- There are 65+ rewards to unlock.
- If you're itching to level up faster so you can get to those juicer unlocks faster, you can buy more levels with V-Bucks.
